Holiday playscheme

John Ball Holiday club

Superkids Playscheme Covid-19 Update (at 02.07.2021)
Dear Parents and Carers
We are excited to be open for the Summer Holiday Club from 26th July.
The Activity Programme and Booking Form is now available to view.
Our activity programme is planned with bubbles in mind, so children continue to be in small groups with children of similar age whilst still enjoying a wide range of activities. We look forward to seeing your children this holiday!

This holiday, children will be accepted from different schools at our playscheme. Children's safety is our prime focus, and we will continue to risk assess, maintain small bubbles and a stringent daily cleaning regime.

Location: John Ball Primary School, Southvale Road, Blackheath, London, SE3 0TP
Opening times: 8am - 5.45pm (amended hours to allow extra daily cleaning).
Price: From £25 per child, per day if booked and/or paid for in advance. Thereafter £27 per day.

Children from all schools are welcome at Superkids Playscheme which is Ofsted registered and offers children aged 4 (in Reception) to 11 years old fun filled days of activities and trips. In our price we include: breakfast, afternoon snack and drinks. Children are required to bring a packed lunch every day and a refillable water bottle. Just a quick note that Superkids has a no nuts policy. This means all packed lunches cannot contain products with nuts (e.g. peanut butter, chocolate spreads, hazelnut spreads or nutty bars). Thank you.

To fully enjoy and participate in the day's activity, please arrive at John Ball Primary School by 9am and collect after 4pm each day. Some trip days may require children to be on-site earlier. Please check the Activity Requirements section on the information sheet. All children and staff attend scheduled off site trips. Trained Superkids staff will escort children on trips using public transport. If you do need to collect your child earlier, please only book onsite based activity days. These days will have a double ** at the end.

What goes on anyway?
Not only will we be running the activity stated on our booking form, we also offer children a varied programme of activities including sports, team games, construction, pool, table tennis, dress up, home corner, arts & crafts and outdoor trips. The premises benefits from a hall, classroom and a playground area. This enables us to have a varied programme of supervised activities. Please look on our parent board for our daily activities and our snack menus.

Please note: Children are discouraged from bringing games to the club and Superkids will not accept liability for loss or damage to personal belongings. On trip days, a maximum of £5 pocket money is permitted. Children are discouraged from buying sweets, fizzy drinks and nuts. Thank you.

Safeguarding at Superkids
In line with our safeguarding policy, any device with a camera such as a phone, tablet, iPod or games console may not be used on Superkids premises, including outside areas when children are present. Parent phones should also be out of sight of children (eg: kept either in your pocket or bag) when you are dropping off or collecting your child. Thank you.

*There maybe an extra charge for some activities i.e. Cinema trip. This is clearly marked on our information sheet and is payable at the time of booking.

Registration form Prospectus Terms and Conditions

My child and I are new to Superkids
New children are required to have a completed Registration form before they can attend Superkids. This includes families who have an older child with us and their siblings are new to us. The registration form can be found at the bottom of this page. If you have 2 or more children, we will need one registration form per child. We recommend new families to come and visit the premises with your child before they attend by emailing us a date during our after school club hours (3.30pm to 5.45pm). Why is this important? We would like your child to have a great time with us and have a smooth transition when attending for the first time. Viewing the setting and meeting the team who will look after your child will help remove nervousness and unnecessary worry.

How do I book in my child?
Superkids require parents to complete a user form on the website. When pressing the 'booking' button below, you will be taken to our booking page on this website. Please read the information and complete the user form. Note: 90% of the fields are mandatory.

Once your form is received, we will confirm your booking, amount payable and e-mail our holiday guide within 2 working days. We recommend parents pay once you receive confirmation so you are not charged the higher rate of £27 per day. If you have not received confirmation within 2 working days, please contact us as this may mean that you are not booked in.
Summer holiday bookings
When Superkids confirm your booking, we will request payment of £125 per child (5 days), unless you are booking fewer than 5 days, we will just request payment for those days. Parents have the option to pay the remaining balance as a lump sum (due by Friday 30th July) or weekly payments (your confirmation email will have the breakdown on when payments are due). Note for weekly payers: Your £125 payment, pays for your last 5 booked days.

Superkids do not accept cash payments and during half term holiday clubs, we require full payment in advance as stated in our terms and conditions. Click here for Payment Information

Once your booking is confirmed via e-mail, our cancellation policy will apply. We accept cancellations up to Friday 23rd July 2021. After this date and when Playscheme commences, cancellation due to absence or sickness cannot be refunded. Fees, including admission charges for pre-booked activities will also remain payable.
Please note: in cases of unforeseen circumstances, activities may be changed or postponed without notice e.g. inclement weather.
