Superkids is an Out of School Club based at John Ball Primary School. We provide a Lunch Club for children attending the Nursery. The Lunch Club provides an excellent introduction for children to eat with others in a happy and social environment in preparation for school. It also gives you the peace of mind that the children are having a great time with their friends and you don't have to worry about picking them up or dropping them off again during the lunch hour if your child is attending both the morning and afternoon sessions at the Nursery, It also means that parents can benefit from a longer morning or afternoon whilst their child attends the lunch club.
Children can attend the lunch club from Monday to Friday and require a healthy packed lunch and drink for each session. Superkids collect the children from the nursery at 11.30am. We encourage the children to sit together whilst they eat their packed lunch and reinforce good table manners and promote social skills. We assist children with tricky wrappers or bottles and encourage children to eat their lunch so they are ready for their afternoon activities. After eating, the children can enjoy a variety of games and activities which have been selected to enhance the development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Towards the end of the session, the children gather together on the carpet for story time before the afternoon nursery session commences.
